GEOFFREY REDMOND MD IS CLOSING HIS PRACTICE

I have made the decision to close my practice at the end of September 30, 2019. I do this reluctantly, but changing conditions affecting independent medical practice make this necessary. I will make every effort to provide a final follow-up for any of my patients who request one.

I will greatly miss the privilege of providing care to my patients and wish all of you the best for your future health and happiness.

Medical Records Requests:
For all requests, please download the HIPAA compliant record request form on this website and send by email or fax as follows:
Link to Medical Records form

Until September 21, 2019:
Email the completed form to hormones3@aol.com, fax to 440 285-2491 or call 212 338-0002 and leave a message with your name, date of birth, address and current telephone.

After September 22, 2019
After this date I will no longer be practicing and regret that I will not be able to provide medical advice, test orders, prescriptions, etc. To request medical records, please obtain the HIPAA compliant form on this website and email to hormones3@aol.com or fax to 212 570-1515.
These are for medical record requests only.

Solving Women's Hormone Problems

Welcome to the Hormone Center of New York
This site is designed to provide clear, practical information about women’s common hormone problems including alopecia, acne, PMS, (Pre-menstrual syndrome), mood swings, menstrual disorders, bleeding, menstrual cramps, irregular periods, acne rosacea, loss of sex drive, breast pain, female pain, pelvic pain, fluid retention, premature ovarian failure, and female endocrinology.

Other hormonal issues are discussed such as puberty, obesity, pubertal disorders, alopecia (hair loss), increased facial and body hair, hirsutism, unwanted hair and hair removal methods such as electrolysis, laser, tweezing, and waxing.

Problems such as persistent acne, oily skin, acne rosacea, insulin resistance, glandular imbalances, turner syndrome, migraines, depression and chronic fatigue are discussed as well as extensive information about the change of life, early menopause, hormone replacement therapy, HRT, osteoporosis and many others.

Hormones are of vital importance to women’s well being. They affect appearance, feelings and long term health. If you think you may have a hormonal problem, are close to someone who does, or simply are curious, you will find extensive information here.

The atmosphere here is different from most medical sites: it is meant to be informal and comfortable – but scientifically accurate. Hormones affect people in intimate ways and so need to be discussed respectfully. Sadly, hormones are too often made to seem mysterious, and scientific information about them is treated almost as if it has to be kept secret. These “secrets” are revealed here.

This site has a positive mission: to show that hormone problems are not imaginary, that they can be understood scientifically, and that they can nearly always be successfully treated.

This site is constantly updated and so is worth checking often. Or, if you do not find your question answered, submit it as a Question of the Month.
